Kind of reminded me of an updated Warrior, but I am with SVZuki, too much $$$ for a name on the tank.

We can ALWAYS state that HD is overpriced which is why virtually none of us on this site own them including myself. But if you take the sales price out of the equation the question is: What do you like & dislike about the design?

likes: rear fender with integrated light, turn signals on the mirror stems on front, dual pipes
dislikes: pretty much the whole front half of the bike (except the mirrors)

Now that is a good honest appraisal. I can appreciate that. Good job!

I sat on the new V-Rod Muscle at the HD dealer near my parent's house yesterday. It feels good, looks even better in person. The 240 out back looks huge, the integrated lights under the rear fender are clean, and the side mount plate bracket is hinged to fold back in to the body. I skipped looking at the price tag.....it is one bad, bad bike.

The only thing I really found on this one....whoever welded the O2 sensor mount on the upper exhaust pipe did a crap job, it was far from clean.....but the other bikes I looked at all had clean welds......

If I was buying HD I'd have a tough time deciding....Oh yeah, I like the new headlight a hundred times better than the one with the stupid cowl on top of it...

Sweet! I have no intentions on buying one. But if I did want to get a Harley this would be first on my list. I haven't sat on one yet, mainly because I never go into HD dealerships. I might have to just for the heck of it sometime.

Yeah, I'm definitely not in the market right now.... That one and the cross bones are tops on my list, depends on my mood that day....

I am not a fan of the cross bones. I just don't like the look of the springer seat on the bike, in fact on any MC. If I was looking at a HD it would be a
V-rod. The bike is good looking.

But, I am a Victory guy and if I get another bike that's what I will get. Although they just closed the local dealership, and I would have to travel
100 miles to get to the closest one.

But saying all of that my M-50 does every thing I need it to do. The only thing I have not done is take it one a long multi-day ride. But that is scheduled in July.

No worries, the M will handle that too....just remember, 4 straight hours at 90mph on the interstate makes a lot of vibrations, stuff could fall off

Otherwise, I've made two decent length multi-day trips (there are threads in the SE region) and haven't had any issues, both of the them were 2-up...

Sat on the V-Rod muscle yesterday at the bike show. I like it. It looks real nice in person. The forward controls feel good as well. I really couldn't find anything about it that I didn't like & I was trying to pick it about. The only thing that's really weird is that you have to tilt up the seat to fill it with gas.

They local HD guy came me a business card & said he'd let me test ride it next Saturday at their shop. I'm thinking of taking him up on his offer, if nothing else, just for the heck of it.

I sure don't see that, besides the V Rod came out years before the 109, so it would be the clone.

Yeah, If I did go HD....it would most likely be a VRod....or a one of those other models I can't afford.

For some reason the Muscle looks much better in that picture than all of the others that I've seen. I wonder what it is...
