| I'm riding last night. Turn a corner, and try to turn off the blinker. It won't go off! The best I could do was turn on the left blinker as well so both would be flashing and thereby at least not look like I was trying to make a constant right turn. Any theories or help? It's a 2004 Volusia 800.

| maniacmedia- I know this might sound silly but the same thing happened to me with my 2004 Volusia after I put on my set of Isogrips...I couldn't get the blinker to turn off. What had happened was when I installed the grips I hit the emergency flasher button on the right just enough to activate it, but I couldn't see that it was moved. So after an hour or so of pulling my hair out I finally moved the emergency flasher all the back to the off position and my blinker turned off. Now I don't know if you might have hit the emergency flasher button while driving, but I would check. If not, I'm sure that it will be a warranty issue to repair the signal switch. |
