Default C90T vs. C109T

I'm considering a new bike and I'm comparing the pros and cons of the C90T with the C109T.

The only real reason for choosing the 109 is for the power. I figure it would be better for two-up, long distance trips. Also, I must admit, the power would be just plain fun.

The 109, however, is also heavy and (from the reviews I've read) has to be forced into a turn because of the fat rear tire.

The C90T would get better fuel mileage, cost less to re-tire, and would handle better. But, would I find myself wishing I had more power in a few months?

Here's another factor. We just ordered a C50T for my wife. How many parts are common between the C50 and the C90? Between the C50 and the C109? I'll be doing all of the maintenance and repairs after the warranty expires, so common parts (filters, spark plugs, etc.) will make my life a little simpler.

Any thoughts or opinions are welcome.
