Do you put them on yourself or have someone else do it for you?

Motorcycle superstore has been the cheapest place i can find tires. Free shipping, but it takes about a week to get them. I dont know if they have faster shipping if you pay for it or not.

Your front tire would be 117.99 Metzeler ME 880 Marathon Touring Front Tire - Motorcycle Superstore

Your rear tire would be 133.99 Metzeler ME 880 Marathon Touring Rear Tire - Motorcycle Superstore

The total would be $251.98, Have you thought about going with the pirellis?

the front would be 93.99 and the rear would be 113.99 for a total of $207.98

dave, im going to have a shop install them for me. i think they quoted me 80 for mount and balance since i wasnt buying from them. but if i did, the tires would run me WAAAAAAY more than what's been quoted here. mounting would run 50 if i bought from them.

rather, i've done some research on the metzlers and have found many more great reviews on them than i have on the pirelli's. plus almost everyone i speak to about metzlers have great reviews about them. i dont doubt the pirellis are a damn good tire but the only thing pirellis have on the metzlers are 45.00 cheaper.

****UPDATE*****
Weather here in Mississippi is kinda crappy so there isnt that much of a rush on the tires. but i'd like to get them ASAP but will still wait on a good deal if need be.

Thanks
