Default riding goggles/sunglasses

So, I want to get a pair of goggles/sunglasses for riding. I want to get them at a reasonable price, like zennioptical.com does for my normal glasses. Sadly, they don't have much in the way of goggles.

Where do you guys go?

I bought some Bobster goggles about 3 years ago, when I first started riding, they were $50, came with 3 lense types, and they have worked very good for me.

my father owns a sunglass store. he says i can offer 20% off the retail price on the Oakley.com - The Official Site site (not the us priced site). you only pay the one 6% tax and $15 for insured shipping to your door. he can get prescription lenses for any sunglasses that's able to have them. just let me know. i accept paypal on his behalf. i use 3 dif sets. chrome oakley crosshairs, Ralph Lauren large lens wraps, oakley oil drums. have some maui jims but the lenses are small and would let the wind beat the crap out of my eyelids. email me after posting here if interested in something.

these lunatics want 500 bucks... FOR SUNGLASSES???

BWA HAHAHHAH.

No way! I would just get some tinted glasses from zenni. Jesus Oakley is smart. They manage to get people to pay that much for something that can't cost them more than 2 bucks to build. That %%%% is so brilliant it should be illegal.

if i were you, i'd just get tinted prescription shades from wherever you go normally...

since i don't wear glasses normally, i pick up a cheap pair of sunglasses from gas stations, etc...

i usually go through about 3 pairs a year... bugs/rocks/ the ground scratches the crap out of cheap sunglasses...

Agree, just get a pair of cheap ones and change them during the year.

I got my wileyx glasses from sportrx.com

I've sent them in twice to repair(my fault. huge head) and have had great customer service and fast turn around.

I just ordered a couple pairs of glasses from zenni the other day and noticed they have goggles for $39. They didn't look bad either.

I have a pair of Oakley M frames with tinted, and clear lens, also have a pair of Oakley Half Jacket XLJ. The M frames give the most protection.

I've got Wiley-X as well. They came with the foam eye surrounds, tight straps (like goggles) and a loose strap. They have the transition lenses. So far so good. Won't help if you need prescription, but I wear contacts all the time, so it works for me.

I bought a set of glasses/goggles without the brand name on them exactly like the GARNY Boulevard RX.. They cost $40 CDN at a local MC dealer. I took the prescription insert to my optician where I was getting a regular prescription filled and they agreed to cut the goggle insert for $40. (I take invisible bifocals on my reg glasses but the goggle insert was only cut to my distance vision.)

Prescription insert stays in and you change the outside plastic lens to clear/amber/grey. Case has separate compartments for each lens to keep them from scratching against one another. You can use the temples or change to the headband to hold them on.
