| My boots are worn out. What are people's favorite boots for riding? Needs to have a zippe or something on the side or I won't be able to get into them.

| I have a pair of X-Element from Leatherup.com. No zippers or anything on mine, but they're comfortable, come part way up my shin, nice leather and thick lug soles...that I'm slowly wearing out dragging my heels around corners...

| I just recently ordered these. I have not worn them yet but a buddy has them and they are very lightweight but heavy duty. https://www.phatperformanceparts.com...ctCode=09-8280

| I just wear Doc Martens. I saw some nice riding boots at the American Ironhorse dealer, but don't remember the brand name. They looked like the traditional harness cruiser boots, but they had a zipper running all the way up the back.

| Georgia Giant by Georgia Boot. They will cost about 120 but they are waterproof, and have steel toes. Very very comfortable. Working on my 2nd pair in 4 years, and that wearing them pretty much everyday.

| U.B's LoveChild ![]() | ![]() I have set of redwing boots-maybe a year now-cost $250 retail (caught mine on sale and company discount for like $140) but they are the most comfortable boots ever worn. I literally live in mine as I have no other shoes, I wear these boots everywear. So beeing in them all day everday for almost a year now and show little wear on them. Whatever you get, make sure they have Gortex lining=waterproof |

| Actually found a nice pair at my local (Outlet) Sketchers store. Not bad boots for under $50 at the time. Zippered sides, not too high up for the Texas heat, good construction, and comfortable.

| Zappos.com - Harley-Davidson Bern I wear mine every day, all day, so I like them to be rugged and styling. I also like that my last pair of HD boots (that I am wearing right now) has lasted 2 years in comfort with daily wear. They just look beaten up, so they aren't the best for wandering around at school/work.

they are ok to walk in, but probably not the best choice to go hiking... if you're doing limited walking (about a mile or so) then they're fine, but i don't know how far i would walk in them... they're comfortable, but it's not like walking in sneakers or anything... i have worn them to work on many occasions, and my feet get a bit warm after a while... they are rather stiff and have good ankle support, but gets pretty heavy if you're walking long distances.
