Default saddlebags on volusia or c50

Has anyone tried mounting one of the larger sized Chase Harper bags on their Vol or C50? I am looking at the Grand Millennium or the textile equiv European Tour (ET) 4000. I am just wondering if they will work, or if they are entirely too big/awkward for this bike. If not what other textile/leather bags work well with your Vol/C50?

Thanks

The Auburn Leather bags I have work nicely:

I am selling them to a friend though, because I am installing the "Strong" fiberglass bags from:

Pictures of these soon, I'll put them on this weekend.
