Default C50 Service Manual or Wiring Diagram

Does anyone have an electonic copy of the 2005 C50 Service Manual or a Wiring Diagram?

Would much appreciate it!

Steve

Default Brake light housing

Actually, what I am looking for is some information on how to dismantle the brake light housing so that I can get to the wires to install a brake light modulator.

Then once I get there, I was hoping for a wiring diagram so that I could see which wire I needed to splice into.

Any idea's?
Thanks, Steve

Well there are four bolts that hold the brake light assembly in place, you get the nuts off from under the fender, there will also be four spacers that you'll enjoy trying to find on the ground if you're not carefull.

I don't have a diagram but there aren't many wires in there and it's pretty obvious what does what. I installed a turn signal conversion kit last year and everything was pretty much straightforward.

Major problem is that there is not a lot of play in the wires to fiddle around with.

It should be the same as the older VL800 manuals for the brake light wiring.

It would be best to put a wire in modulator up under the seat where the harnes goes through the fender. There is not much slack back at the taillight.

This is for the Volusia but the C50 should be the same.
Wiring:

Brown---running light
Black with White stripe---ground
Black---left turn
Light Green---right turn
White Wire with Black stripe---brake light

I posted that link a little over a year ago, so it may very well be gone by now. Sorry.
