| Hi riders, I plan to change my bike , a Boulevard M50 2005, to upgrade to a more powerful machine. The look and feel of the boulevard is awesome and I will let it go to my wife. To stay in the same mood of style, I thought to buy a Kawasaky Mean Streak (The mat black one excite me a while!) ![]() Is is a good choice? And any suggestion to replace it for a best Cost/Value rate? Thank's! |

| The Mean Streak is a good bike, and owners tell me it is reliable and trouble free. In tests it rates lower in performance than other offerings in its class, like the M109r, VTX1800, and Yamaha Warrior, but it rates higher in comfort and is a good value for the price.

![]() Having ridden the Meanie on two seperate occassions I can concur. I noticed it was fairly quite on the first ride (a 20min demo at a local IMS event). It may be down on performance compared to others in it's class, it's by no means slow. Top gear roll ons are impressive and whacking the throttle open in 1st or 2nd is a
