The weakest torque wise put out only 71lbs-ft followed by 79lbs-ft. The rest were putting down closer to 100 if not a little more.

this all reminds me, I took a picture of a Honda CBX1000 (1100?).

A inline 6 cylinder monstrosity.

Monstrosity? Why? Several modern bikes are sixes. This one's pretty cool, IMO.

Hey, to each his own. What's great about bikes is that there is something for everybody. Thank God for diversity and personal taste. But IMO this one is a bit much. His beautifull wife/girlfriend looks like a toddler on that beast.

So your original comment wasn't about the CBX, but the Boss Hoss? In that case, I concur. I've seen them twice in person, which is surprising for central Minnesota. What struck me the most was the sheer size of the fuel tank. It's three feet across!

YOu are right, it's a good thing we have choices! I love all bikes, started when I was 5 years old on a Honda Mini-Trail 50. Through they years, I have ridden all kinds and sizes of bikes...and I have no bad things to say about any of them. I just simply love to ride. Actually, the Boss has a capacity of 8.5 gallons, and I average between 28 and 30 MPG with it. Although they may look "different" and not very agile, they are one of the easiest to ride and most well balanced bikes I have ever ridden...bar none. It handles the Tail Of The Dragon very well, as I live about 45 minutes from it. (It is not a sport bike of course, but a cruiser). Everyone that I have let ride mine was immediately impressed with the balance and ease of handling. If you ever get the chance to ride one, either at a rally, etc., please do so. I know it is hard to believe, but they are as easy to ride as a very small bike, and have all the power most people could ever desire. All together I have logged almost 100,000 miles on V8 Boss Hosses, and after riding one, you (honestly) will never want to ride anything else. The one I have now (pictured here), I bought new and have almost 47,000 miles on it. We ride to Key West every spring, and I have many times logged 19+ hours straight in the seat, with no discomfort at all. By the way, that is the wife, and she looks small because she is...she weighs 77lbs., and is 4'9" tall...
Mike
