|  New Guy (what bike)
Hi New to this site, looks like a good one. I would like to know what ya think? Going to buy a NEW ride, a Yamaha.(star) I started out looking at the 1100 Silverado, to small I am 6' 4 & 270 . Then I checked out the Road Star 1700 Silverado, nice ride but not crazy about keeping the spokes clean but they look really good. It's a real nice bike, fits me good and I like the looks of the studded seat and saddlebags. Could go with the Road Star S (cast wheels) and aftermarket stuff. Well this is where things started making me nuts, I sat on the Stratoliner, WOW!!!!!!!. Only I am not so hot on the hard modern saddlebags, but could get used to them I think. Another way would be is to go with the Roadliner S ( nice looking candy-red / raven ) and put mustang studded seats and some saddlebags with studs. HOLY COW what to do. I can get all the aftermarket stuff at cost so that's no big deal. How would the Roadliner look that way? What do you think is the best way to go, or any other idea you have. Thank you for any input, and like I said I have gone NUTZ.  |
