Hey Y'all, just joined, first post, looks like a great site. I have had a C90 Boulevard for 8 months, my first bike, have put almost 10k miles on it and loving every minute. Still trying to find what is really comfortable for the LONG Haul cruising, I now have my fourth handlebar on, also tried two sets of risers. Running 400+ miles in a day will certainly tell you if the setup is right for you. I ended up with a 39 inch "Butterfly" style bar, and I just love it for cruising. I have a highway bar and pegs, stock highway lights, stock saddle bags, stock luggage rack, and stock passenger backrest, Cobra 2-1/4 Slashdown pipes with a DynoJet Power Commander III USB and just had it Dyno tested. If ANYONE says that you do not have to get your bike Dyno Tested with power commander on it, they are just purely nuts. It is well worth what ever it costs for you locally. But last night was where the real fun happened. I have been getting more daring and wanted to really see what this big cruiser was capable of, so I took it out to KCIR Kansas City International Raceway, and ran the 1/4 with a best time of 5 runs being 14.455 @ 90.56 on 87 octane. The only thing that I changed from the setup I described above, was I put on my 22 inch Drag Bar, took off the saddle bags, passenger backrest, and luggage rack. What a blast. I know the bike is capable of better times, if it's rider can sharpen his skills. RT best was .538 and that was an improvement over the first run of 1.220 but before you laugh too hard, consider that is the first time I have ever set foot on a drag strip other than as a spectator. Let me know what you think...
