Default Baffle question

I have an 03 Kaw 1600 vulcan with cobra pipes on it has anyone ever tried wrapping the baffles with fiberglass cloth to quietin them down a bit? If so did it work and how did you do it?

Thanks from a new guy on the forums here.
Great site so far I have been chatting with the guys in the sportbike section a bit and love this place so far.

I've done it to the straight shots on my C50. It does quiet them down some but it's hard to get the baffles back into the pipes. Once you get them in don't plan on taking them out any time soon, because their so tight it's almost impossible. Once the packing burns I'll won't repack them again. Check on smartpartz.com and see if they make a quiet baffle to fit yours. I've already ordered a set for mine.
