Default Vl800 rejet

when you rejet can you just debaffel or do you have to put on new pipes?
if you have to put on new pipes I would use V&H pipes.

It's a combination thing.

First why would you rejet ? Is it running lean ?

If you change the exhaust you would rejet in order to balance out the air fuel mixture depending on how much more air your exhaust allows to flow.

It is a trial and error experiment trying different jets and seing on how the bike reacts.

You may want to rejet but not a requirement. If you change the air filter a rejet is a must you have changed the air and fuel mixture ratio. Most ppl who do it do put on pipes when they do the filter. Check out this site it will give you all the info you want to know about how carbs and rejetting work lol you will be reading a while. www.therusks.com (brimans home page) I direct you to that link cus vol league is down and dont know when it will be back up.

A lot? I'm very satisfied with the info I got from the VOL site and the support from members. Unfortunately the site is down now but there's good info at www.therusks.com

Never said it wasn't full of good info but if you look through past posts a lot of people needed help after rejetting.

True.
I had a glitch or two myself. It's not brain surgery but one does have to pay attention to detail.
