| Hi, I am new to the board, and I would like to say that I love my bike! I got it from my brother, and it is in mint condition. It has 7500 orig miles and I was wondering what size is our gas tank and about how many miles can you usually go before having to refill? I have gone about 300 miles on it so far since i got it, and i usually go about 86 miles and put about 1.5 to 2 gal in when i refill. Is this normal?? here is what it looks like

| I'm new here as well, and just got a '93 Intruder 800 with 5600 miles. It's in great shape. Here in alaska, the riding season is REALLY short, so it's barely been outside. I think it's been ridden 3-4x a year for the last several years. I plan on remedying that next summer. Anyone know of a place to get a springer front end for these babies? |

| Newbie | Superman...I have an 03 Intruder and have actually put 3.4 gallons of gas in it before when I pushed it on reserve to 139 miles. (That was riding single the whole way) When I double my wife I have had to switch over to reserve at 100 miles before. It all depends on speed, whether you double and if you are crusin at a constant speed or not...I would never count on more than 140 miles max...I think I was running on fumes the day I let it get to 139. Hope this helps some! Joey
