| The windshield comes up to the bottom of my chin. This is my first bike but it feels to be on the short side. My question to you all is what is the "average" height of windshields? Should it come to my eyes, nose, etc.?

| Windshields don't usually cover your face so you can see thru them, unless of course, the motorcycle is intentionally made that way. I would say your windshield is exactly where it should be. It's high enough to protect you at speed, but low enough to see over. The C50 is one of those built to look over the windshield, not thru it.

| Checked mine today and it comes about the same level as my nose, maybe a tad bit lower.

| It's all about personal preference really. Depending on how I sit, mine goes anywhere from forehead to chin level. A taller windshield wil sometimes distort your view of the road and/or reflect your guages at night.

| I always try and set my windshield height and angle to be as low as possible, well still allowing the wind blast to clear the top of my head at freeway speeds. For me this is usually about chin level if the angle of the windshield is close to the same as the angle of the forks. Hint, the closer you sit to the windshield, the higher it needs to be. Also, as was mentioned, some bikes are made to look through the shield. Go to the HD dealer & sit on a Softail Heritage, unless you are over 8 feet tall, the shield will be well over your head.

| <The windshield comes up to the bottom of my chin….> Just about perfect – and the first foggy night you get caught in the rain will convince you of the wisdom of that…
