| Check the post below...about the 83 550 fuel supply problems. Sounds like you may be experiencing the same thing. Probably gummed up carbs, the needle's probably not opening up the jet enough. Check the carburetor boots as well (between the carbs and airbox) and if they're cracking, at higher demand you may be sucking in air and throwing the mixture off. Good luck!
