Thumbs up New member--Old rider

I found this site while trying to find out how to change the oil and filter on my V-Star 1100 custom. I think I found the answer. Now the only question I have is do I have to drop the pipes if I have Cobra drag pipes on it? Glad I found this site.

Ed

There is a Filter Relocation Kit you can buy and install so you do not have to remove the pipes to change oil. Welcome to the site!

Thanks for the info. I checked into it and the kit is about $300. It is something to think about. Plus I have to slip the deal past Momma. I spent a ton on chrome and mods last year. I'll put a picture of it on when I get it out for the season. (hopefully soon.)
