Default Electra Glide to Solo

hi I'm a new user and was wondering if anyone with an Electra Glide had changed it to a solo seat and removed the top box. What I want to do is find a quick release system for my top box I've had the wiring sorted out but I don't want to take the suspension on and off every time i want to change the look of my bike. so if anybody can give me some advise on where i can get a quick release system for a 1993 bike i would be grateful

Harley sells a quick-release rack that attached to your Tour Pac and goes on/ off the bike in seconds. It costs about $140 plus the hardware kit, though I have seen used ones on EBAY for half that. It comes in two versions, one for solo and one for two-up seats, so make sure you get the one you want.

Welcome to funville! Dr Bob answered your question, I've been thinking of doing the solo on my Electra Glide for when the wife not riding with me.

The MOCO quick release fits 94 and newer, they are usually pretty accurate with thier fitments, but sometimes an item will fit that they list as will not. Best find a mid 90's with one on and take some measurements to be sure first. Want to do this to my 93 Ultra also, just haven't found a 94-95 or so to do a take off as yet.
