| I swapping out handlebars on my S50 and was wondering how easy a task this is? Should I even attempt it or should I seek professional help? I'm thinking that it looks pretty straight forward, but every now and again, I'm wrong. Any sites out there that might have a step by step? Thanks. |

| It's just nuts and bolts unless you have to take brake lines off (which you shouldn't). Just make sure everything is properly aligned and secured at the end. You don't want something coming loose on the road.

| It entirely depends on what bars you are swapping to. If they are pretty close or identical, such as swapping because you bent yours, it is very easy. If you are swapping to a different style, you may very likely find that the cables and hoses need to be swapped for longer ones, and all the wires cut and lengthened. You may also have to swap the risers. And if you are swapping to a different diameter bar you will need new switch boxes, grips, and master cylinders. What bars are you putting on?

| I'm swapping the standards that came with the S50 for a pair from a 98 LS 650 SAVAGE. I believe they are the same diameter, but they rise about 4", so I may need new cables, but I'll see when they get here.
