Default 2004-LC1500 Intruder/Blue&gray

New boy on the block with a big toy.Need a little help with after market pipes.
I would like it louder but not something that rattles my teeth out.
Just too new to know much!!

Welcome aboard! Nice choice of bikes. I am sure you will enjoy many miles on her, and this forum is a very nice first accessory.

As for pipes, Vance & Hines makes a few models that are not too loud... Cobra also. I personally have Hard Krome 3" Big Straights but they are pretty loud when you open 'er up. You may want to check out http://www.intruder1500.com/forums/s...ebtag=&msg for some specific exhaust information.

If you have a dealer do the install they will want to do a rejet at the same time (since most aftermarket exhaust systems flow much better than the stock one) but personally I would recommend NOT having an aftermarket kit installed, ie. DynoJet or Cobra, etc...
