|  Cobra vs Vance&Hines
Hi. Great forum here. Iv'e been lurking about as a guest for a while now. Have read the "loud pipes" posts and don't want to start any arguments here. I do preffer to make some noise but not just be loud. My VL1500 has Cobras on it and I have never been satisfied with the tone. Sounds very cheap and after I took the baffles out it just sounded cheap and loud. My brothers have Kawisaki Vulcans w/ Vance n Hines and they really have that deep tone. Not tinny like mine. Best Harley Iv'e ever heard also had V&H. Is the pipe diameter of V&H just a little different so as to produce that thoaty sound that I'm loking for? |
