Is my exhaust ordeal over or am I going to roll the dicel again? - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I ordered my pipes in late July from DG Performance aka Hard Krome. They arrived and the fit was not correct. Sent them back, (DG's dime) to have them reworked. 4 1/2 weeks later after a lot of screwing around on the part of DG I got the pipes back. Still wrong!!! Send them back again for #2 rework, (DG's dime again) and after one week in their shop I finally got a reply to the three emails that I sent simply asking for a progress report. Here is the reply "We do not have the material slated for your pipes and will work on a refund immediately." What a bunch of %%*%$#$%(())&%$#$#$%&**(&(^*%^%%^)&&^&%&^$$^%^^^(^ (%^$##@##$&*^*&$###%^&!!!

Anyway I called the Internet retailer that I purchased the pipes through [(Metric Thunder) they have been really helpful by the way] and what they are going to try to do is get the refund from DG and send me a new set of pipes off their shelf by next week. I have been a machinist and fabricator for years and I am totally amazed that a motorcycle exhaust manufacturer cannot make one set of pipes for me and CHECK THEM BEFORE THEY GO OUT THE @##$^^#$**&^???>>&))(%$%**_(_^%$$^ DOOR.

Maybe I am an idiot for wanting the same set of pipes from the same manufacturer but I have my heart set on them and maybe I am rolling the dice again. We shall see.
