Default c90 wants new pipes.Is pclll critical?

hey all trying to get advice from riders,not salesmen on adding power commander to c90 for new pipes all advice welcome thanks and ride safe

Don't buy the power commander till you have the bike tested. Most shops will test the bike for 25 -50 dollars. If the fuel mix is withing factory specs? you just save yourself the cost of the power commander. If not. Then get one and have the dyno do to the full run.

I would recommend the PCIIIusb. I run it on my 07 C90 with a Cobra Powerpro hp 2into 1 and K&N exhaust and my bike runs like a dream. Downloading and installing or tweaking the map is a breeze too...

You can also buy the cobra fi2000r. It's about $100 less than PCIII and no downloading or mapping involved. Can't say if it is a better product though. I put it on my bike after installing new exhaust. I had a lot of decel popping before and none after. As far as testing my dealer just said to ride the bike before install, which I did and noticed the decel pop, and add it if I thought it was needed. Having the dealer check is probably a good idea though.
