Default Questions Re: Thunder Hyperchargers

I was looking at Air Cleaners at Phat Performance.com and noticed that they have 3 different versions of the Thunder HyperCharger, with a very large price differential.

1) Type A - $152
2) Pro Type A - $190
3) Pro-R Type A - $247

Does anyone here have any idea what the differences are between these hyperchargers?

Küryakyn

It seems that the pro and pro-r difference is the r comes with the mounting adaptor and the pro doesn't. The difference between the pro and the standard hypercharger is the cfm of air that will flow. The m50 will not benefit any from the extra cfm of the pro, the standard hypercharger will already flow more cfm of air than the m50 will take in. There's at least one post in the M50 forum that talks about that.....somewhere in there anyway.

Scratch that about the pro and pro R, it wouldn't let me edit either......
The pro is without without the extra air trap on the outside (smooth face), and the pro r has the extra air trap. The difference is the pro r will allow even more air flow....but still the M won't take in anymore than the regular hypercharger will already allow. So unless you really like the looks of the pro or pro r save the money......as I did when comparing the pro vs. the standard hypercharger.
