| Hi all Im new to this great forum and would like some help. I have a 2001 Suzuki Intruder 800. I am trying to replace the stock front pegs with floor boards and dont want to have to remove the whole assembly from underneath the bike. I have read that some folks say get a dremel tool and cut the threaded set screw off but I dont know how you could get a dremel cutting blade up into the shaft were the allen screw gets tighted. I have read to cut off the phillips set screw head and insert some kind of phillips screw into the cut off set screw head and back it out. Im really lost, it would seem if I could cut off the threaded end of the set screw that would be the way to go but I cant see how guys are getting a cutting tool up into the allen screw shaft to do so since it is less than 1/2" wide. Some of you guys that have done this please respond. I have read threads on this at Intruderalert.com and responded to old threads there also but I think I will get a better responce with a new thread here. Thanks guys see you on the road. PS, Could you get a small hole saw up into the allen screw shaft and cut off the set screw threaded end?

| Just get a small cold chisel at the local hardware store, put it against the threads, and whack it with a hammer. Costs about $3, takes about 1 minute.
