Default Advice on buying riding gear...

I'm a new rider and I'm looking into getting a good pair of mototcycle boots and possibly pants/other gear. I currently have a good helmet, jacket and gloves.

Does anyone have any recommendations on good, affordable motorcycle boots (preferably brown)?

I've been riding in jeans. Are there pants (other than jeans) that are worth looking into that would go with a cruiser?

Thanks.
