I agree with the need for butt rest. For me if I am out and about touring BFE and I want to stop after 130 miles with no gas near then I can stop on the side of the road, smell the roses, rest, whatever, then hop back on the bike and go for another 130 miles. It is not about going non stop for 260 miles but not having to worry about the next gas stop.
