2007 C90 here lots of likes and my only real dislike is fuel capacity..I commute on my bike so it's not that big a deal but I could see it requiring some good planning on raod trips in rural areas...

Now fifth gear is like sixth. I can drive around 55-65 in fourth with no problem, and 5th is for cruising. My last tankful of gas (doing 131 miles 45-65mph) gave me 48.5 mpg.

I would complain about the tank size, but I need to stop a little more frequently these days to stretch the three legs (the third one because of the new-found power from the Bully). HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Is there that big of a difference between the 06 and 07?? I am usually shifting into 5th at 65 or 70 mph and my bike is like it's sleeping on the highway... I like the thought of better milage though.. I just ordered a 2into 1 exhaust so I'll see what that does to my mileage....

I have '07 90t, love it, had 1300vtx before, good bike but not quite big enough, I'm 6'6'' 240lbs. I like the tank under the seat, better balance as far as I'm concerned. I have had an acceleration problem at times. The dealer has changed sensor,ECM and just recently the wiring harness and coils. You would think I would hate the bike but I know they will get it resolved, they are puzzled because it has never happened on any of the 90s they have sold and diags show nothing. The fix is costing me nothing, I have had a couple of free oil changes and free labor on other things because of the inconvenience. If it isn't repaired with this, they are going for the injectors, if that doesn't work I will ask for a new machine, either way, it will be resolved. If anyone has had any problems like this send me an email at beebegun@comcast.net. I will go in to more detail. BTW, I get between 45 and 49 MPG.

Default C90 Gastank

I must concur, the tank is very small, and I too find myself looking for the 6th gear. I actually stumbled on this website looking for information on the gtank, but I am glad I found other riders interested in making a better ride. I have no complaints with my 2005 c90t runs like a top, and the only mod's I added was louder pipes (due to non-attentive drivers) and engine guards. We make the 600 mile trip to Myrtle beach every year, but trailer the bike due to having to stop so frequently. If anyone has any insights, I would love to hear them. Thanks Mike

I have the g-tank and I use it often. I have found that loud pipes just don't do the trick, my stebel horn gets noticed though. I really don't get why some of you guys are "looking" for a 6th gear. From all of my reading the 90 runs best at the 2500 rpm range. That would put you at around 65 mph in 4th. 5th runs nice at 90. Do you guys need more speed than that????

You will NEVER run out of 5th gear with the C90.

I traded my C50 in for a 07 C90T and love it. I ride in the mountains and with 2 up I needed more stuff. It is big, roomy, comfortable and the best looking bike out thee (imho). I can go about 150 before I stop to smell the roses.
Thats is also about my bladder mileage capacity. Shaft drive and a bullet proof motor. All some can talk about is the small fuel tank.
Yes, Suzuki could have done better but it does help with center of gravity and thus help it live up to it's ancestor, the LC (lounge chair)1500.
There, I'm done.

I have had my C90 SE for a little over a month now and am enjoying it . The clutch took some getting used to but I don't mind it now, it could use a little more power but from what I have heard there is a lot of untapped power hidden there just waiting to be tapped into. I will get the Bully and new pipes eventually. I love the look and feel of the bike.

You can't go wrong with the Bully, I really like mine!! Easy to adjust and G-man is super fast with replies to questions or concerns. Just for an idea I installed a Stebel horn and I made a bracket to house my Bully in the stock horn location using the stock horn cover. Makes adjustment very easy.

Love my C90SE. Bought it new on May 13th and already have about 4000 kms (2500 mi) on it! First bike I've had in over 20 years. Has plenty of power for me; I rarely have to downshift on the highway when climbing hills. I have no second thoughts about purchasing this bike and expect to have it for a long while (God willing...).

"LC" 1500 checking in. The G-Man mini tank is the bomb!!! Used it today. First time EVER I have had 100 miles on the tripmeter and still have only one bar drop on the guage.

Also,, getting a carb setup redone this winter and we shall see how much we can get out of the old "Lounge Chair".

05 C90 here, love mine but like everyone else fuel tank too small, seems like at the gas station ALOT. I too would like to see a 6th gear in it for interstate. Power never been a problem, even 2up

I still don't get this 6th gear issue. Look, if Suzuki were to add a 6th gear then the ratios between 1st to 5th would have to change and you would simply end up with the same scenario you have now with the exception of an extra gear. If the ratios were to remain the same then you would be at approx. 2500rpm in 5th doing 75>80mph then hit 6th. So doing a steady 100mph in 6th @2500rpm is the range y'all want??? Craziness if you ask me. There is plenty of torque and hp left in the 90 at 75>80. I know for a fact that my bike can get to 100mph very fast from 75mph. Even at those speeds with my bags fully loaded and a fully loaded sissy bar pak I still get 44mpg. But then I do have all the extra hp producing goodies that the rest of you might not have.

So what happens when 6 gears doesnt cut it, go to 7????

Default 2005 C90T First Ride in 23 Years

Bought a 2005 C90T with 675 miles a little over a month ago. Great ride. I'm a big guy and have not had any problems. Still getting use to the power band. Put on a light bar, engine guard and luggage rack. Nice looking ride. Yeah, the tank is too small. But I honestly have to stop before the tank empties to take a leak and to relieve the numbness in my throttle hand and butt.

07 took some getting used to but like the ride now.someone might have brought this up but the fuel tank is a little small. iput a rack on it so i can eat at work and changed the rear pegs stock ones rubbed on the back of wifes calves. i cant get rid of the valve tap it sounds like a bad lifter.i think whats happening is its losing the oil out of the lifter and losing adjustment. who knows, if theres a bad one out there im sure to get it. and mine is black with blue metalic ,looks good in the sun
