Nothing wrong with either bike. I like the Kawasaki better and it seems to be a very popular mid size cruiser. The belt drive is really a plus. You lose less torque and HP with the belt but the shaft is less maintenance. If you want another point of view post this same question at

Default Vulcan 900LT or C50T

I just bought the 900 lt and I have to admit that I am very impressed with it. I think that the c50t may be a little small to go around some of the bigger rigs that you find on the highways in Northern BC. Bit of road noise from the sound traveling up passed the screen but other than that it one hell of a transporter. Scotty would be proud.

Sounds like your happy with the 900, I have the C50 and it handles the big rigs in southern BC just fine.

The C50 is to small to go around some of the bigger rigs? Look! the C50 has 805 CCs, the Vulcan 900 has 903 CCs, I don't think that 92 CCs will make that much of a difference. I don't have any problems passing big rigs when the need arises. You have a great bike in the 900 but don't expect it to be a rocket compared to the 800. Ride safe and Semper Fi Devil Dog.

I just bought a C90T and now have over 3,000 miles on it. I drive it almost every day, and one thing I noticed was that the driveshaft is kind of noisy. My friend bought a Harley Softtail Custom, and his doesn't have that noise. My bike also has a 3.7 gallon tank, and it's the pits when I travel on it. I have to stop about every 125 miles, drives me nuts. Just for the larger tank, I think (as an afterthought) that I would go with the 900. (And this is my THIRD Suzuki)

Thank you for all the replies. Man this was a tough decision but I am now driving the 900!!!!! As a lot of you said, I don’t think you could go wrong with either bike gut I am very happy with my decision. I just love this bike. Got to go for a ride right now!!! So much fun!!

I just rode my C50T 1600 miles round trip to see my son, and I never felt the need for more bike!...and I'm a LARGER guy...6' 235#.......I needed to get there quickly so I did 95% interstate.........the bike ran flawlessly at 70-75 mph for hours on end, and I never felt a lack of power or being buffeted around, and with a STOCK seat I was worried that this 56 year old body would be hurtin!.......must just be my frame, but the stock seat was extremely comfortable to me, even after a full day in the saddle..I kept waiting for my butt to start aching, it never did.....I went all alone, and would do it again in a heartbeat..........I can't understand why ANYONE would need more bike..........I plan on wearing this one out and buying another one!.........no "upgrading" to a bigger bike needed for me! Very Happy
