Default S40 debaffle?

Hello.

not sure where to post this one.

I have a M50 and debaffled it. love it.

question:
has anyone debaffled a S40?
my wife's mom just got one and she asked me if i could do it for her. I noticed that the pipe has a different size than the 3" and 1.5" outer/inner plate.

the second part i need answered is:
Will there be any complications because it's a single cylinder?
my v-twin m50 was fine with the operation.

I'd like to get some feedback asap, so i can tell her what to do.

thanks for the help.

you'll need to change the jets in the carb if you choose to debaffle.
