Default Jacket Suggestion (Hot Desert Weather)

I'm new to the cruiser and I could just wear an ICON jacket, but wanted to see if anyone knew of a reflective leather jacket that is good for tempature over 90degrees. I'm gonna sweat, but no way am I wearing a salad bowl for a helmet or a tank top for a jacket.

Thanks
Chris

Default Joe Rocket

Ballistic Mesh armor Phoenix jacket here.

A little uncomfortable, it has elbow, shoulder and back skid pads.

I feel better, at least a little safer with this thing.
Get some chaps or armor jeans too, they're about 50 to 70 bucks...

First Gear makes a Mesh Tex 3 that is a combination of mesh and textile. It has a wind/water proof liner for cooler mornings and when the liner is out the air goes straight through, elbow and sholder armor too. I got mine at Newenough.com.

I also use a ballistic mesh jacket, which feels like heaven on a hot day, but the OP asked about leather. I'll admit feeling less protected with the mesh on. I'd fully expect some rash around my waist if I went down with it on. It's just too flexible and soft.

I use an Icon TiMax2 mesh. Its not necessarily reflective, but that can be rectified with a trip to the fabric store

Cing,
That is the Joe Rocket brand.

Rowdy is right, we might rash if we crash around the waist.
That's why I got some armor jeans so I can clip the jacket to the pants.

I feel best in my cowhide riding jacket, it's great up in the mountains.
If I at least feel safe about keeping my skin I can concentrate on riding and not dumping.

I use a Frank Thomas mesh with CE armor for riding in our hot Texas summers. The sleeves from the elbow down are solid black fabric, so it get a bit warm, but it's vented at the the wrist.

I have the Joe Rocket Sonic perforated leather jacket. The patches are reflective and also, you can't see them on the pic's. but the black piping on the arm and back are reflective as well.

Phoenix 4.0. CE and foam armor. Cooler than even just a T-shirt.

I picked up a Hein Gericke from MotorcycleCloseouts.com. It's gotta a waterproof liner zip-in or out, and CE elbow and shoulders. Otherwise it's all mesh. At 90 degrees it's warm, but the air really flows through it.
