Intruder 800 - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Looking for advice on what the heck is wrong with my suzuki. I hear a mild rattling sound from the engine/trans area while slowing down for
traffic doing 30-40 mph. Almost sounds like I'm in the wrong gear but
I'm not. I have it narrowed down to either the carbs or the valves.
All started last week when I mistakenly took my baby in for a 12,000 mi
tune up on it's 25,000 mile engine only thinking how much better it was gonna run....duh

It's the carb's, had to take it back to the dealer to have the carb 'pull' readjusted. I doubt I'll ever have them work my bike again in the future.
They told me nothing was wrong and to ride it around a few hundred miles and if it still persisted bring it on back. I think I may have ruined something riding with just one carb which made the valves flap (which was the sound I kept hearing).

Oh Well....another wonderful day in paradise I guess
