WOW! I THINK YOU'VE UNCOVERED THE SECRET WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ENJOY THEIR HARLEY'S. ITS ALL IN THE PRICE. I ALSO LOVED MY C50T, I GUESS IF I HAD PAID DOUBLE FOR IT I WOULD STILL OWN IT TODAY. GIVE IT SOME TIME - YOU'LL UNDERSTAND. ENJOY YOUR BIKE, ITS ALSO A GREAT MACHINE.

| Like I said you get what you pay for. I paid I got it. Fess up guy; given the option, all things being equal would you really take the C50 over a Harley touring bike? Maybe you want to start a poll just to see other members' responses. I too love the C50T and it's a terrific bike for the money, but really the Street Glide is in a different league. I'm now talking from experience. Yes they cost a lot of $$$, but @ $10,000 you'd need to pay a $15,000 premium just to get your hands on one. Just supply and demand economics - very elementary!

Well...so you now speak from experience??........lol.....OK, I'll "fess up"............dude, I just SOLD an Electra-Glide that I put 32,000 miles on...........I've ridden NOTHING but HD's for the last 15 years, so I guess your "experience" is more than mine!.....two Electra-Glides, two Superglides, and three Sportsters (junk)...........lol....seriously tho, ENJOY your new bike, TELL yourself it's worth every penny,...THEN.....when you've come to realise that it's JUST ANOTHER MOTORCYCLE, only you paid WAY too much for it............come back and we'll talk...........BTW, your old C50T will do EVERYTHING your new HD will do, and after 32,000 miles on the very same "frame" as your bike.... I can tell you the C50T's BIGGER and MORE COMFY too! Rookies!I hope you know this is all in good fun!!!

It's all in good fun as long as no one gets hurt. I've ridden many older Harley's and to a certain extent you are right. Must admit that the '07's with the 96CID and 6 speed are a true joy. Enjoy what you ride and ride what you enjoy.

| Okay, my turn to weigh in here. I picked up my ‘06 Road King Classic Thursday. I drove it 250 miles home. It was the worse 250 miles I’ve ever ridden!!!! I have my C50T set up like a Lazy Boy recliner and was thinking WTF have I done. But, I am a short man and the bars on the King were just too far forward for me, plus I had to tiptoe every time I stopped. I moved the bars back and I have ridden around 200 miles every day (mostly 2 up) since, and now as of this evening, I love the bike. However the things I’m changing are; The handlebars, I ordered a set of bikini beach bars A set of lowering shocks (can’t use the lowering blocks on a Classic) Haven’t ordered yet but will most likely order a Mustang Touring seat Other than the power, the C50T really doesn’t have anything to be ashamed of. Once the new wears off of the HD I don’t know if I’d choose one over the other when riding solo (other than the %%%%%in’ looks of the classic). But riding two up I think I need the HD. But then again, the brakes suck on the Zukie, front and rear. Oh, I bought a Harley T-shirt today………………………..I never bought a Suzuki shirt. Humm, I guess it is a peer thing after all.

| Congrats on the new ride, she sure is a looker. A lot of people I know have put Harley's sundowner seat on there Road Kings, I have one on mine, and find it to be very comfortable. The stock bars didn't work for me either, I wound up with a set of bars off a FXR. Who's shocks did you decide on? I hear the progressive 440's are good.
