| You might be better off going a little bigger. How about the V-Star 1100, or the Suzuki 800's ? I like the look of the 650 but hear that it is under powered , especially for the highway.

| ... ![]() | i'm 6'3" and felt cramped on the C50 / M50 and Vulcan 900, mostly as far as legs not having a natural place to fit beside the tank / engine. the V-star 1300 was much better, though i can't recall what the 1100 felt like or if i even bothered to sit on one. the c90 was more in line with my fit as well (pretty close to how the v-star 1300 felt). i don't think that power is going to be your issue - i think that space / fit and ergonomics are gonna dictate what you end up liking. all kidding aside, if i had an extra few thousand sitting in my pocket right now and a place to store a second bike, a red V-Star 1300 would be it. |

| Got a friend that test-sat quite a few bikes for ergonomics...and decided the C50 was best fit for him. He's about 6' and around 240 pounds and a new rider.

| ... ![]() | oh ya, it probably would be good to add that it's not just overall height that is the issue for some people - it's their arms / legs length that gets in the way. my legs are what gets cramped the most on the small and mid-size cruisers, whereas [arm] reach is great on them

| I'm 6'2" and I am quite comfy on my M50 with forward controls. That 650 may be a bit small for you.

| I don't see why everyone is saying the 650 is such a small bike. I'm 6'3" and I fit fine on my 650 classic. I know the 650 Custom sits about 1" lower than the classic, but I fit fine. And the frames on the 650 is the same as the 1100. Smaller motor, but on a large frame.

| I'm 6'2" and about 275. I have a 05 C50 and it fits me good. The only complaint I have is that when I have to make a U turn I have got to move my leg to get out of the way of the handle bar.
