Exclamation Intruder owners

I have a 1998 Intruder 1400 and the tail light bracket broke and my tail light and license plate got jammed between the swing arm and the rear tire. I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with the tail light bracket or am I a lone wolf?

While not common, this is not an unheard of problem with older Intruders, as the bracket is subject to a lot of vibration. The bolts can work themselves loose, allowing the bracket to bounce more than it should, and the metal can split over time. This is especially common with people who have relocated their turn signals to this bracket, or added extra weight such as chrome plate frames or stash boxes.
