Cool Um..uh...oh yeah...

....I remember what I was gonna ask;

Do you doods that wear a helmut\helmet have any experience with the Bell "Drifter?".

Some guyz tell me that at speeds above 45 mph the Drifter will pull you up off the bike without a windshield.

Could this be fact?

I've had this with several half/beanie helmets. Windshield only helps if it's tall enough to deflect wind over edge of helm, if wind hits you around the eyes/nose it'll be worse.

What do those guys weigh....25 pounds!??!
That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard!

Anyone saying enough air will get under a 1/2 helmet to pull someone of average size off of a bike at 50mph is full of S--.

Good move on the full-face, but I'd quit speaking to anyone dense enough to spread that kind of rubbish around and seriously believe it.

LOL!

Hey,
I'm way too fat to shoot off the back of a bike by windforce on a helm...
Apologies Poe...

Just my offbeat sense of forum posting...I need to get a better feel for this forum and it's very great collection of members.

Sweet looking helm Ray,

Guess I should have done something other than white "hum?"

I was just thinking 90 degrees + here this Summer.

More than one helmet is OK tho I'm thinking...

Four helms?

I guess a collection of mellon-shields could be a good thing ...

Full face, light weight open face w/shield (great on hoter days) 2 half helms, white one I bought when got 1st bike and a smaller red/white/blue just 'cause. And a Bell Mag 8 that's for sale. (matches blue M50s if anyone interested)

i'm actually thinking of getting a new helmet cuz the one i have is black so not too visible, and wind noise is kinda loud, and it's not too aerodynamic so at speed if i move my head around i can feel quite a bit of turbulence

currently have a black HJC CL-12, but i just bought a gold / amber visor for it, so i might look at other HJC's that use the same visor but are better for my needs....
