| The dealer finally got my tach problem fixed. In order to wire the tach the fuel tank was removed a half dozen times by the dealer, now there is a fuel smell all the time, I don't see any leaks. I went to the dealer and I was informed that 's normal because there's a hose that goes to the air box and the smell is coming out the air box, I've got a hard time believing that. I told the service manager that I didn't smell fuel before the tank was removed multiple times. Can someone tell me what hose may have been left off or improperly connected. I never had the fuel tank off and I'd like some advise as to what to look for when I take it off. 2006, C50 FI not California emissions. Help and advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

| Hi Sgt. Mike, I dont have an answer for you, but I had the tank off my Marauder this spring to install stage 2 jetting. A little bit of fuel spilled from the petcock while removing! I am sure all the hoses and everything else I removed were reinstalled and my fuel milage is as good as last season, but I too am smelling gas a little while riding. Also last summer I topped up the radiator with premix and a very small amount spilled, I still smell antifreeze from time to time. I guess the jist of my rambling is it seems on the bike the smells are really noticable and sure seem to last awhile. Hopefully this is the case with yours, and it turns out nothing is wrong. Dean
