Well I got a new (used) intruder 1500 (1999) for xmas and now it's stuck in my parking garage at work. I called the dealer and he got defensive and was of no help. Anyway..I drove it in, parked it and later it wouldn't start. Battery is fine, turns over strong, it has gas (watched it squirt out of the pump when I pulled the line off). All the obvious has been checked, clutch pulled in etc. Like I said it turns over strong but just won't catch. One thing I noticed..I think this is important...is that there was always a clicking sound for a few seconds after I turned the key in the past. Now there is no clicking and no starting. I assumed the clicking was the fuel pump but on closer checking it doesn't click and it pumps fine. Could it be that the decompression valve is stuck open? That's the only other thing I can think of that would normally click when you turn the key. Any help? I need to get my bike home. Thanks, Keith
