Now to formulate a proper atheistic response to this...

Last night - went and got one too - my first.

Will post pics when it settles down.

Quite simple - a wooden sign in the weeds, with blood group, donor status and the heading - just in case!.

With color - about 4 hrs of work.
Surprised that the hurting bit was not too hard - the boredom as it went on forever was harder to take!
Been married for 27 years - maybe I am used to nagging pain! LOL.

This was my second, my first one was about 20 years ago so i guess i take my time doing things eh? I'll second the boredom part. My son was there while it was being done and asked if it hurt. I told him not as much as my butt.

Apologies If I break any 'rules' by posting in more than one thread.

Anyway, here is the tat I got on Wednesday. Since my wife has held my hand in too many casualty wards, it is a standing joke that I needed the following info as a tattoo - so I did.

That's funny.

Dang, Peter, I'd read your post a few days ago about this tattoo and I thought you were joking.

I've never seen anything like it.

NICE!

Was meant to be tongue in cheek, and succeeded!.

All up, I have spent a number of years in hospitals, and am about to go back for more surgery.
My kids started to get tattoos, and I told them to get something that means something to them - cos it is there for a long time!
They challenged me to put my money where my mouth is, and there is the result.
My wife has to think of a theme now, or else she gets 'Property of Pete' on her left breast.
