Default changing grips

I plan on buying some new grips for my Sabre, this being the first mod I'm making on my bike. Is there anything I should know before I change them? Is it relatively straight forward? What should I know before doing this? Tips etc.

Thanks!

Sometimes you can peal the old grips off, but don't count on it, be prepared to cut them off if you have to. Either way, peal, or cut, you won't be able to use them again, you can never get all the old glue out of the inside.

Before slipping the new grips on, be sure you get all the old glue off, and any cleaner you may need to use.

The new grips should come with glue, but if they don't, be sure to use a type that is good for rubber, plastic, and metal. Be sure you give the glue plenty of time to dry before trying to ride the bike.

Depending on the bike, universal grips may need some physical alterations so make sure you get the ones for your bike unless you don't mind

Gorilla Glue works awesome for applying the new grips. Make sure you do the throttle side first so the clutch side matches up correctly. (if your grips have any kind of design on them)
