Default New from Virginia

I have been reading entries on this forum since I started looking for a new ride. I have been riding since mid 60s. I now have a c90t 2007. my last bike was VTX1300c which I added many accessories. I wanted a larger bike and was looking at the Wing but did not want to spend that much money. I am enjoying the 90T very much. I had a 79 Suz 1000s and was very pleased with it. I have read a lot of messages on this forum about the C50 also. I needed a little larger bike because I am 6'6" and 240lb. The one drawback for me on the Wing was how close my legs were to the fairing. I had been off the bikes for about 20 years because my wife doesn't ride but I got the urge again at 63 and had to ride again. I love it and as a matter of fact, I had to ride yesterday and today, temperature was in the high 30s. I enjoy the inter-action on this forum. I have had a Ducati, two BSAs, one Truimph, the 79 Suzuki, VTX1300 and now the c90T. I apologize for rambling on but thats what I do.

Welcome to the group Ron. I came back to riding at 63 also, a year and half ago, there's nothing like it. Be safe out there and watch out for the cages. Semper FI.

Lots of us vintage riders here, you have a few years on me, but some mornings it doesn't feel that way.

Welcome! I'm not quite to your level of doofusness (I'm only 5 but I came back to riding a couple of years ago as well. Though I've been riding since 1974 and was only out of the game about 6 years, I re-took the MSF course just to refresh myself. I highly recommend it.

Shenandoah VA? I think that's near where I went to Military School I went to Fishburne in Waynesboro and Massanutten in Woodstock. Beautiful country there. I really miss it.

"like your quote, I'm an NRA life member."

Same here. Went Life over 20 years ago. I own only handguns, and compete in NRA Conventional Pistol.

AZRyder, Shenandoah is 40 mi. north of Waynesboro. I work for telephone company in Waynesboro. Lived there for 21 yr. been in Shenandoah since 84. Very familiar with Fishburne. Telco office is about 3 blocks from the school. How do you like the 90T?
