| I have a 2006 honda shadow. I am looking to buy a new exhaust for it. The 2 options that i have found are "drag pipes" and "fatty pipes". As a first time bike owner i do not know the difference between the two options. Both are similar in price and style. Which would be the better choice? It is a cruiser, and im looking for a deep sound. the last thing i want is for it to sound like a sport bike. Any input would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

| Before buy the drag pipes buy a pair of ear muffs and I hope your neighbors are not to close to your house if you leave early in the moring some day, Also your going to have some major rejecting if you have cabs or electronic controler if you have fuel injection. Do you know those Harley that you can hear 2 blocks away. Well that what it will sound like. Put it this way I wouldn't ride next to you. V H makes some nice pips that you can remove the baffles onces in a while. Go to a motorcycle shop and talk to some one, one to one. Anybody else have anything to add to this newbie.

| O I see that you are Air Traffic Control Communications Tech. You hear those planes well you'll be close on noise with them. Also most town don't allow that much noise. Then your first shirt will have to pick you up at the brige. Been there done that. Air force crew cheif. Here check these Vance and Hines Longshots for Aero 1100: Metric Thunder
