Default customer service from Cruiser Customizing.com

Because I had read about some good feed back on this forum concerning Cruiser Customizing, in late October, I ordered an Icon jacket and gloves. I received the order about two and a half weeks later-both jacket and gloves were too small-not their fault, mine-I called them and they issued me a return arth. number, and a new order number, 'cause I didn't want to cancel the order, just exchange it. I sent the original order back to them three days later, via registered mail, 11-10-06. Two weeks later, no replacement order had arived, so I called them to find out what was going on. I was told they were implementing a new system, and it would take a while to process my return/new order. Today is Monday, 12-04-06, and I have not received my new order, and I have not heard a damn thing from them, even tho' I have sent them e-mails to PLEASE let me know what's going on...anybody else having problems with them? I ride an '06 Suzuki c50, and I plan on ordering a Memphis Fats windshield plus lowers, crash bars, light bar, etc...guess I'll give my business and $$$ to J&P cycles...

Not sure where you heard that review from, but I've almost always heard the opposite about CC. Their customer service sucks, I've heard. Sorry you fell victim to them.

Sorry to hear you had problems with them, IV always had luck with them.

Another company you might try that have treated me and others around here well is New Enough Motorcycle Leathers sells leather and textile riding apparel, boots, gloves, luggage, helmets, etc.

I was pleased with the service I received from them. Hope they take care of you soon, if not ask for a refund and go elsewhere, though it's aggravating to have to go through something like this.

I've heard bad things about Oneida's customer service, but I've always used them with success. Besides, the price is usually right on their items. If you're interrested: Oneida Suzuki Inc

I'm sorry to hear that those guys messed up. I've frequented their site several times looking at gear. I've never purchased, and I suppose now I'll just stick with Oneida. Sure, they tend to be a little slow on their shipping, but when you get the part for as cheep as they're selling it, you've got to accept a LITTLE trade off. Other folks may correct me here.

Also, do a search for Eric at extreme suzuki. He sells items at a discount as well and can get you a great deal. Both Oneida and Eric sell items that are aftermarket as well as the OE items.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal.

I ordered through Cruiser Customizing and had no issues whatsover.
Shipping was prompt, packaging was well-done, and the price was good.

Others here referred to New Enough also and I have to recommend them too.
I ordered a jacket through New Enough and had a great customer experience.

Never done business with Oneida, but heard the nightmares of others here and elsewhere. Lot's of good stuff said here about Eric at Extreme, too.

Hopefully, CC makes things right with you and you can just move on. Consider New Enough in the future and trust what others say about Eric at Extreme (I know I will if I ever need him).

Also, keep Cycle Gear in mind if they have a store near you.
I haven't ordered through their website but my local Cycle Gear is staffed with GREAT guys. They're not always the cheapest, but NOBODY stands behind what they sell like Cycle Gear. If you've got a problem with something they sold you, you walk into the store and they make it right. PLUS, they have a 30 day trial period for all new helmets. If you don't like a helmet bought at Cycle Gear, take it back within 30 days. They'll exchange it OR give your money back...YOUR CHOICE!
SWEET DEAL!

Good luck, bro!

I've ordered quite a bit from them and only had one problem with something I ordered that they didn't have it in stock yet-(new item, just out).......all I can say is call them again, if you don't seem to be getting anywhere, cancel your order and go elsewhere......I've also had good experiences-(a jacket) with newenough and their reviews on items seem to be spot on.

Good luck

Default Cruiser Customizing customer service

Hey, thanks for all of the replies-I.m going to call them tommorrow, 12-06-06, and cancel my order-all I wanted was an e-mail telling me the status of my new order, and I haven't heard squat-It must be nice to have so many repeat customers, that you can turn away new ones-hopefully, J&P cycles will except my money, 'cause that's where I'm gonna try, unless you guys have some better resources...

I have had excellent service with Cruiser Customizing. I have also had excellent service from Meancycles.com too.
These are the two I use more than anyone.

Don't buy anything from Oneida Suzuki, they are rude, unhelpful and won't return or exchange anything even if it's a gift or their own fault for sending you the wrong thing or advising you to get the wrong thing. We received a gift that was purchased from Oneida and it was too small, so we asked if we could exchange it for a larger size and they said "NO!" because it had to be within 5 days...well it's a gift, how do we know how long it's been? We even went to the trouble of asking the person who gave it to us to get the receipt! It's still in the plastic with tags on! Doesn't seem like that much of a problem!

I've purchased from Cruiser Customizing three times now, and all three have been good experiences.

Hopefully Oneida is getting the message, because due to comments made on this forum, I have steered away from them.

I ordered from Oneida and had no problems. I read bad reviews on them but I took a chance and it worked out.
