| Hi gang, I own a Boulevard M50 2007 and I have a question. I found two threaded holes under the side rear fender support pieces. What are these used for? Anyone know? If you have this bike, look under the pretty chrome side pieces that are on the left and right of your rear fender, you know the things you can mount the backrest or the saddlebag supports to, and see the indentation and the two holes that are threaded. What goes in these holes? I am wanting to add some custom accesories and was wondering if you have found anything to work in this area. Thanks much, shapemaster |

| Just a wild guess, but most bikes now are mass produced for a world wide market, and as such, must be basically setup to accept several different forms or versions of mandatory items that different countries might require. Could be anything from a totally different license setup, or turn signals, or other required items that are not otherwise made available to those countries that do not require them. Therefore, there are always little unexplained frame bosses, drillings, and extra wires in the main harnesses. Just makes it easier to "outfit" the bike later in the production stage for its final destination. Then again, I could be totally wrong. HAHA!!
