Default Where do I switch the spanner on ?

Hi everyone.

I ordered the saddlebags and bracket and sissy bar. I am very excited. But finding and ordering the stuff all the way to my crap country was only part 1 of my problems. Obstacle 2 is slapping it onto the bike. Just to put that into perspective : I am not really technically mined. I don't really know where to switch spanners on, or how to drill holes with the hammer.

It's not really that bad, but I thought it might put a smile on your faces. Fortunately I have a friend who was practically born with a silver wrench in his hand. It is on him that I will call in my darkest hour.

I will keep you posted.
Renier

Do not, I repeat do not remove both fender bolts on one side at the same time, as many (including myself) on this forum have. other wise you will be a learning and making up new curse words while trying to line everything up so that you can get both bolts started.

Danr is 1,000,000% correct...PLEASE save yourself some heart ache and do a search for methods that myself and others have used to mount them. Search saddle bag bolts and words like that. BUT DO NOT REMOVE BOTH BOLTS ON ONE SIDE AT THE SAME TIME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

On the brighter side, if you do remove both bolts at the same time,
you can find out how to make holes with a hammer.

I ended up redrilling them. Enormous pain in the ass.
