The closer you get, the more your eyes travel down and your balance changes. Keep looking ahead of the bike and you'll be fine. Actually, you'll really be thrown off when you start riding with passenger! I don't know how many times I've yelled over my shoulder, "STOP MOVING WHEN I'M GOING SLOW!!" g/l with it. TT

| Hey, Learning to ride a big bike can be a challenge but worth it in the end. I did a safe riding course about a year ago and they stressed these points; 1. Keep your head up, look foreward, be observant of traffic. 2. Use your front brake to stop. (it's ok to use a little rear brake to keep the bike steady) 3. Always when stopping click down through the gears to first gear with the clutch in, be ready to be able to take off again to avoid an accident. 4. Check your mirrors, there may be cager about to ram you. These bikes are heavy and clumsy at low speed so practice makes perfect. Have fun
