| Well after 20 years of not riding because of children, I'm back in the seat again. I think we stop riding because of we think if we die on a bike who will raise these kids. As I look around there are 18 to 25 years old riding those things that look like F4 when I was in Thailand and Old fates like me riding the big curiser. Well 6 months ago I bought 150CC moped and my reasoning for it was to put around and save on gas. Well that lasted for one month. Next I bought a 1986 Honda Shadow in MINT shape with 5000 on it ( was kept in old man's garage for 16 years) and me and my wife had a fun summer on it. Put 3000 miles on this old machine, even went to Long Island. (If you ever go there bring alot of money.) Well I sold that last week and bought 1999 Suzuki LC1500 what a jump. The reason I bought that was that women who kept saying no to bikes now is a perament fixture on the back seat. Which I don't mind keeps me out of trouble. I like to share some my my expernces on my first ride. It was a 231 mile trip which I got about 39 MPG with 310 pounds on this thing (me and my wife). That's half highways and half back roads. For me being a small person 5'6" 160 pounds the bike is a little hard to handle with that women glued to the back seat. I said the same thing about the Honda at first. Well before I ast down and wrote this I just ordered a set of handle bar risers because my back is killing me. It seems that for my size I was bending forward alot. Well here is too pictures of my first bikes in 20 years. This is my first post and I hope I learn alot reading yours posts and coments. PS I don't have a owners manual but I ordered a shop manual on CD until it gets here does any body know were is the oil fill is. Found the window and found the oil filter. |

| Just behind the chrome engine cover with the oil check window there is a smaller chrome cover held on by 3 allen head screws. Remove it to access the oil fill cap. Make sure you check the engine oil level in the window with the bike held level, not resting on the side stand. The lower line indicates exactly one quart low. Don't overfill. I love that 1500 LC- the red and white was my favorite color scheme ever, but they only made it for one year.

| Yes welcome back Carlos....I started this last March myself after 30 or 35 years away from riding. Bought a 2005 C50 and love it. My wife who for years, as a Nurse, swore that she'd never get on one of those thing loves it also. We ride down your way often to the yacht club in Little Compton. What is it East Main Road or something? Last month we took off the the Kangamagus Highway in NH. Round trip in one day 400 miles. If you need any discount Suzuki parts try Oniedia Suzuki in NY. Good deals

| In little Compton it's Main Rd. Just rode there last night to south shore beach. Not on map because little Compton doesn't want you there, also no street signs there either. I would like to do Kangamagus but in either 2 to 3 days. Thanks for the tip on Oniedia but I've already order 3 items from them. One was very important since I'm short, it was a set of handle bar risers because it seems I'm always bending over. Are you into boating.

| Used to be boaters...Had a 1993 Maxum 27 with a 7.4 l V8 from 93 to 2000. Got board with it and the expence. We cruise now on Carnival Cruise lines. Its cheaper and I don't have to yell at anybody when docking.LOL. Try looking under your left or right side cover for your tool kit. IF its like my C50 you remove the tool kit box and there is a single shock in there and it has several ajustments. Use the spanner wrench in the tool kit if you still have it. Any land marks to the South Shore beach road? Is it near the winery? |

| I work for a boat builder and would never buy one again. Too much stuff to break and when it does you can buy 2 bikes. I'll look under the tool kit thanks. OK south shore beach. After the winery about a mile there is a sign little compton comon take left, go to center of town. Past the 6 street light (the only ones in town) to end of street take right go down that road unit the end (about mile) take left, go down that road until you see a road on right right, take right, go down that road until the end you'll see the beach. \DON'T TELL ANYONE it's a town secert.
