I have a whirring type noise from the rear brake area. The noise is there at all times it gets a little louder when I step on the brake. It is loud enough that when someone rides next to me they can hear it. I jacked the rear of the bike up, took the stainless "caliper cover" off, ran the bike in gear and could make the noise disappear by pushing the inboard pad away from the rotor with a screwdriver. I took it to my dealer and they said the spacer on the right side of the wheel was to narrow which caused the rotor and wheel to not be centered which caused the rotor to rub on the inside pad creating the noise. They made a spacer to move the wheel and rotor to the left. I am still having the noise but to a somewhat lesser degree. Has anyone else experienced this noise problem? The noise started at approximately 200-300 miles. I am now up to 3500 miles. I am brand new to the hobby and really like the bike other then this annoying noise. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some advice.
