|  Oil Filter
The manual for my 1400 Intruder says to turn the oil filter an additional 2 -1/2 turns after the seal makes contact with the engine. That seems excessive. It's tough to tighten it that far. On my cars I only hand tighten them. Someone told me that it is a misprint and the filter should only be tightened 1/2 turn after the seal makes contact. Does anyone have any info. regarding this. |
